Pecan Pie
The New Orleans love story. My first taste of Pecan Pie in New Orleans was a revelation! I even called the restaurant, and the actual baker told me the recipe was "so easy." Well, after ten attempts, I can tell you it was anything but! This timeless dessert is the final, perfect result of that obsession, filled with toasted pecans in our signature buttery, flaky crust. Each bite is the delicious balance of rich, sweet gooiness and satisfying crunch.
- The Netta’s Difference: For the flakiest, most tender crust possible, we use a touch of vodka. Don't worry, the alcohol evaporates completely during baking, leaving behind only the most superior texture!
- Perfect Balance: Filled with toasted pecans, our filling achieves the perfect balance of rich, sweet gooiness and nutty crunch, setting this recipe apart from all the others.
- Size: 9" pie pan, 8 – 10 slices.
Care & Enjoyment
- Store: Room temp up to 2 hours. Fridge covered for 4 – 5 days.
- Freezes well for 3 - 4 months. Thaw overnight in the fridge.
Netta’s Tips
- Warm in a 350F oven for 10–15 minutes to restore that fresh-baked taste.
